A question for our US forum members.

I've seen the story and images that the US state of Vermont has now banned the sales of veg seeds....If true then your Govt's are really coming after you big time.

No need to look for conspiracies here, it's a simular situation here in Belgium. During the lockdown only essential shops are allowed to stay open like pharmacies and foodshops, shops like DIY stores, clothings shops and garden tools specialists are closed. We have a chain of stores here that sells both animal feed, cooking ingredients like flour and garden tools, in these stores the isles that are not food related are closed (taped off) and you are only allowed to by the essential food items for you or your pet. Obviously growing your own food is considered to be non-essential, while in practice people that grow their own food don't need to run to the store and risk getting infected....

Another reason why you should save your own seeds. Pick 1 or 2 of your best plants and let them go to seed collect them for next years crop.

Some countries take population control to the next level for sure.
I saw an interview recently that said the new world will be divided into 3zones.
USA and supporters, dictatorships/communist countries, and those refusing to align with the previous two mostly on religious grounds.

Wow, a store can stay open but the Govt then says what you can and can't buy from that store. Given our hardware stores are still open...for the time being, looks like Brussels is really enjoying keeping it's people under control.

Growing your own food considered to be "non-essential".....I'm shaking my head in disbelief. Crazy stuff.

That is country wide but only at Walmart all other stores that are open and normally sell seeds are selling them. I will not get in to my opinion on Walmart other than the fact that I deeply dislike them.

yes walmart did that last year to cut down on foot traffic, i was lucky in that i had massive amounts of seeds on hand mostly lettuces and herbs but also large amounts of peppers and tomatoes in numerous variety i found a perfect solution to store seeds in the 20 and 40 dram plastic pill vials. the lids seal pretty good to start with but i went one step better and found some thins o-rings the fit the groves perfect so they seal 100% air tight the photo below the is about half of my seeds vault storage theses are the smaller 16 dram plastic vials they hold 20,000 lettuces seeds each and vary on the herbs amount in each vial between 8000 to 14000, with them seals the caps as you can see are numbered and has seed labels attached to the outsides the tomatoes and peppers i found a supplier that sold bulk seeds in 2000 seed lots so bough 6 varieties of tomatoes and same in both sweet and hot peppers. i have a separate small apartment fridge just for seeds set at 42F degrees thats something like 6c and all those little packets ....." do not eat " i collected a mass of them super dried on foil in over and made a container thats filled with about the size of a 16 oz soda can so cool and dry in the fridge. so guess who supplied friends and neighbors with seeds last year
