Not 100% maybe a little bit of click bait even.
But I grew some sweet potatoes a couple of years back and planted them too late so got maybe 2 potatoes out of it and they were pretty small.
I decided to use the garden where they were for something else, but wanted to save the slips, so I planted them out the back of the granny flat.
They got very little love including water and they were planted in very dry sandy soil in a tiered garden, like I say, just to keep them alive while I worked out what to do with them.
Well as often happens, life got in the way and I left them there giving them some water every now and again when I remembered to.
As I was cleaning out my last raised bed last week I decided to use it for sweet potato next year, so figured I would rip them out and bung them in there.
Well to say I was surprised at my haul is a bit of an understatement.
Except for the pain it was to dig them, I really don't know why I would move them
