brilliant. I have the Vegetable Planting Guide from Mother Earth news and it is fun but at times frustrating - decisions decisions decisions. it is a full website of plants, structures, that you plug into gardens to scale. But, it really cant help with seasonal changes in Ecuador! so this guide is great.

I loved Ecuador, I remember getting fantastic vegetables from the markets. The biodiversity is amazing, I don't know that you could restrict it to just sub tropical, as the climate varies so much from town to town.

Desert, high altitude mountain grassland, tropical rain forest & everything in between.
