    That's a good idea, I know my tank has a layer of dark stuff on the bottom. I've always wanted to go for a swim in my tank but not sure how to get out :hysterical:

    Like the tank vac setup.
    To improve the quality of the output water from a tank you should have a flexible floated hose set to 6" below the water surface connected to the tank outlet
