Solar Energy Video - Not Bad

I found this solar energy video on YouTube and although it's essentially a commercial for a solar company, the video is very well made and interesting viewing.

What do you think?

I like the 44 gallon drum wind turbine... might be good if you lived at the beach, but if it went too fast it could get dangerous

Imagine how much power could be produced in one of those tornadoes they get over there

I thought it was a pretty cool cartoon - it must have cost a bit to make... I'm glad someone else found this thread finally lol

Not sure why i hadn't seen this thread before.
I didn't mind it. Gives a good overview of how the system works.
Does it really take a couple of days to install a system like this? I've seen whole houses built quicker than that (well almost )

Nah, that's bull! My 5 kW system was installed in a day and mine had to be mounted on brackets which added about twice the install time. I think that old couple got ripped
