I took this pic of a pair of scaly breasted lorikeets licking nectar from a palm flower in December last year and found it again today when I was randomly looking through my images. We get numerous birds visiting our property but it's often very difficult to get a good pic of one especially the parrots or exotics as they seem to be pretty timid.

I've been so warn out from starting a new job not long ago I haven't been keeping up with the SSC goss as well as I'd like.
Anyway, I like how you caught the tongue out on this one.
You could probably lighten up this shot a bit in your camera software and it would really pop.
good shot though of a difficult subject.

Hadn't thought about lightening it up - it is dull isn't it  I'm such a shoot and hope photographer...

Work's more important then surfing SSC - have to put in the big yards at the start mate then you'll be right
