Hey guys,

here's a complete overview of my raised bed allotment vegetable garden in video form (they say a picture tells a thousand words). I'm finding this type of vegetable garden set-up is really working nicely for me and my family's desire to be relatively self-sufficient in vegetables.

The allotment itself is about 16 x 34 metres (544 square metres) but not all is growing space with the need for paths, seed raising area, compost bays, etc.

The paths are mostly pebble with sand and weed matting under that and the allotment is bordered by large rocks I got from our nearby quarry. The rocks keep the gravel in but also let the water seep out when we get our heavy subtropical rain.

There is a mix of colorbond and sleeper raised beds with some large pots for dwarf trees (avocadoes) and herbs.

For the rest, just see the video - it does go for 25 minutes so apologies for the length
