I was looking into growing mushrooms in the garden and read in an e book that I purchased that the author speculated that growing mushrooms in the soil under tomato plants has the potential to prevent or lessen the occurrence of the wilt and or fungus that they seem to suffer with. So far, my mushroom patches have not flourished but I will try to plant tomatoes near them come spring to test this theory.
