Hi all,
I am wondering if anyone can help with these cucumbers. i have a few different plants fruiting all from the same seedlings. Some are more yellow than others and aren’t as sweet. Even the larger yellow ones don’t seem to ripen as much or there is just something wrong with them? We have too many of them and I don’t really want to give the yellow ones away if they are not right.
Thanks for any help, Paul

I have these and they are my favourite cucumber.
The deep yellow ones are overripe. I save them for seeds.
You have to eat these pretty quickly.

Thanks Cathy we weren’t sure if they were under or over ripe. So drying out and using the seeds works with the yellow ones? Ever tried pickling either the white or yellow ones?
Thanks again...Paul

I am currently sprouting my saved seeds and at three weeks old they are 4 inches tall so so far so good!

I just let mine rot on a rack and then picked out the seeds when the whole thing was dry and they are really healthy.

Have not pickled them yet as I only grew two plants but this year there will be a lot more!
