Just catching up as I haven't been on, seems a recurring factor lately. Jan/Feb has been the worst time. Chiropractor discovered a malignant melanoma, top of head which has been safely eliminated. Stitches come out on Wednesday as had to do a skin graft. New hairstyle coming up so I don't look like a monk in training.

So much stress on top of two breast lumps in the middle of all this, which was also passed as nothing to worry about. Tomorrow I am to have a stress test running on the treadmill thing at the cardiologist as my heart decided to give grief although the Dr. assured me it wasn't an attack. Felt like it, swear my heart stopped for 3 secs. after a sharp pain. Something is going on can't surely be anxiety had lots of that. On holiday to get over it in March sometime. Then maybe my life will get back to normal.

Sounds like you're in the wars Kasalia!

At least you're onto it and making sure there's nothing sinister to worry about that's the main thing.

Best of luck with your cardio today :)

Gee this is no good. Kasalia, sounds like you need a good stress free break. Life can get on top of us sometimes. Have to focus on the positive times.

What good luck the chiro found it, Kasalia!
I do hope all goes well at the Dr.
Try some indoors container gardening as a stress management tool if outdoor work becomes arduous.
    All the best, anyway.

Aaaaaah just got back from the cardio, pfft running for 7 mins on the treadmill sucks. Apparently I have major missed beats known as ventricular and atrial ectopics probably caused by the Rheumatoid and Medicine. Wants to see me in 6 months. Is hovering on giving me beta blockers but in my anxiety state could make it worse. Had to smile at "Don"t worry you are reasonbly fit, and no blockages you will be fine" She should try going to bed everynight wondering if you are going to have a heart attack due to the missed beats. Life as I know it just dissappeared. Sorry for the venting. Trying to focus now but I just want to cry.

Well done thus far Kasalia. The missed beats aren't going to pose significant problems, and the reassuring thing is that your specialist doesn't want to see you for such a long time. Take time out for yourself, health scares are just hiccups along the way, and remember to count your blessings.

Yes life-threatening health scares are just awful to go through and to have melanoma plus a breast cancer scare, and a cardio scare all around the same time must be stressful!

Well done for getting yourself checked out before it got worse and as Ash said above take it easy for awhile... and stay away from any treadmills :)

Hi Kasalia, well all that sounds a bit rough.

Apart from worrying when you go to bed, are you getting good sleep? Just so you're not tired which may increase your stress about the situation.

    Can you still do gardening?

Well Kasalia, for your treadmill workout you did 100% better than I ever would! :D

I would not last even the first 30secs.

Venting is good. And I'm sure everyone here would agree with me that we would love to see &/or hear about any of your attempts at any form of self sufficiency be they big or small.
Apart from being good for the greater good of the earth, SS & gardening is ever so good for the individual on all levels.
Talking to plants is apparently very good for people. ;)
