OK so went and saw this last night and it was OK. Don;t expect anything in the way of a story, this is one long action sequence. But geez do they know how to do an action film, there was no shaky-cam and weird Michael Bay jump cuts and confusing zoom-cuts. The action was done with real props and real stunt people with minimal CGI, so minimal that apart from some weather effects I couldn't tell it was even there, you know, the way CGI is supposed to be used. The characters were well acted albeit with not much to go on, Max is Max of course and there's no character development there at all and Charlize did a good job (probably better) with her character. So basically if you think along the lines of the final chase sequence in Mad Max 2..but 2 hours long then you'll know what to expect. If the thought of a guy standing on the front of a War Rig playing an electric guitar with FLAMES coming out of it's neck floats your goat then you will LOVE this movie.
