We are in the process of purchasing a property with extensive old flower beds from the previous owner who passed away 2 years ago. I want to put in a garden, restore his flower beds and grow food, but first I need to learn how and make a plan, so that's why I'm here :D I'm not in any hurry, I figure it will take me a year of work before I plant much of anything.

The chickens in the photos belong to somebody - not sure who though. They're good old girls.

Enjoy the Youtube channel. I've been making notes even though the climate is different the lessons are very useful.

welcome GrdnCritter, that looks like an awesome garden to start with :) Seeing those chickens free ranging, I'm thinking you will need to put up some kind of fencing around your gardens, at least til things get established! Can't wait to see what you decide to plant! It can be a loooooooonnnnng list, to match the garden beds :)
