Hi there. Ive just joined after finding a python in my chook pen and terrified chickens all merged into one giant ball of feathers each trying to hide behind the other. It was a big python and I didn't know how to get it out myself as it was cornered. Next day it was gone and I could not believe how on earth it got out. It must have flattened itself into a French crepe to get through beneath the door. So I googled how thin can a python make itself and found you guys :)

G'Day and welcome. No matter how you found this forum, it's a good result.

Yep Mark's vid's on his chooks (and ducks) and issues he has encountered I guessed are shared by many a backyard chook keeper. Remember, Mark saw a snake in his chook house and though it was gone, only to find it still in there.

Not trying to scare ya, but just warn that old mate may still be hanging around.

Anyhoo, welcome to the forum. Great info to be found here.

Best of luck and hope the chooks are okay.
