Hi Walt. I guess you are going into the deep freeze as we speak so you won't have any outside garden right now.
Do you have any sort of climate controlled garden?

Our low tonight will be around 5F. And it is still Fall. Not really worth fighting the kind of cold that will arrive when winter gets here....but I am going to seed some spinach tomorrow in some planters inside. There is also the joy of perusing the seed catalogs this winter. As they say, everything has a season :)

Walt, have you seen the youtube youtube video about the guy making hanging gardens out of softdrink bottles that form a sort of curtain in his window?
He cuts the bottles in half and suspends them one below the other with growing space between then adds a little compost and a single herb, lettuce or spinach or other green.
The bottles drain into the one below until finally into a small bucket on the floor.

I have seen them. They look interesting. And a good way to recycle
