Do seeds grow when have been sitting in water?

    Hi everyone I found some seeds in a pot and wondered if they would still grow if I put them in soil?

    What condition are the seeds in? Do they look or smell mouldy? And it also depends on what type of seed.

    They are carrot seeds and they aren't mouldy.

    I'd give them a go after drying them out. If they don't germinate, plant something else.
