Mark updated Plucking And Processing Basic Backyard Setup

Here is a quick 2 minute video I put together about my basic backyard setup to process any of my home-grown chickens for eating. It only shows the setup area and I also give a demo of what temperature (60-65 degrees Celsius) to soak the bird to make plucking easier.
I shot this video on my phone so it apologies for the shaky cam :) The gallery image is just one of the homegrown chickens I'm cooking tonight for dinner.

How often are you doing this?

It depends on my hatching out really because we only eat the roosters. I've done about 1 per month on average over the last year but we're pretty full up ATM as far as hens go (we got more eggs than you can poke a stick at - lots of omelets) - I can't see us hatching any more chickens for awhile now.

We still have one fully grown rooster and about 3 pullet roosters (4 months old) so they will likely become dinners in the next 6 months. Although, I've become quite fond of our rooster. He's got a good nature so I might keep him... we'll see.
