Are these broccoli ready

Hi folks.. I am in a quandary as to whether to harvest these broccoli or not. We are going away for 8 days in 5days time so will they be “overdone” by the time we get back? Both plants have side shoots already. Harvest or wait?

Yes, you'd really want to pick them slightly before this, to be honest... they are best picked when the heads are tight with no sign of florals opening at all. You've got them just in time :)
