Possible? Have you had some rain aswell? I've had rain here and have watered and some of my flowers don't seem to like it.

Could be lack of light, or a mineral deficiency, which could be from leaching by rain/water.??

Agree with both comments by Stevo & Tim try sprinkling a little blood & bone fertiliser around the base of seedlings and water in.

Thanks guys for your reply I have just used normal potting mix maybe I should of used our soil but it's so clay like in most places and most of the plants we plant in it struggle bad and end up miniature and it doesn't matter what we add to it( we have added everything).

I am growing them under shade cloth there is still enough light I hope? I just know if there was no shade cloth they would shrivel up and burn (I have tried) .

Maybe it is over watering and the mineral thing. So strange one of my seedlings which must be a melon vine it has 2 seedling leaves and one normal one and a flower! I accidentally knocked it off but that was weird hahhaa its like 4cm

Standard potting mix only has limited nutrients. Seeds will germinate fine and use the small reserve within the seed as food but then they require nutrients to keep growing. If I use standard potting mix for seedlings I mix in two handfuls of blood & bone or slow release fertiliser before sowing seeds.

Generally, I use my own sifted compost or a seed raising mix for seedlings. I agree, shade cloth is a good idea to raise seedlings especially in summer!

Hi Jessica! This might be late but a common reason of plants having pale yellow leaf is nitrogen deficiency. A good way to improve the health of your plant is to add commercial fertilizer (complete fertilizer (N14P14K14 -Nitrogen Phosphorous and Potassium).
