Hello everyone, glad to be here! I live in central Texas on a post oak savannah, at the southern end of the blackland prairie. I'm a beekeeper, and bee removal and relocation specialist. Hoping to add a small orchard, and would appreciate any suggestions on types of trees to plant Thanks in advance.

G'day William and thanks for joining SSC! A bee removal specialist - respect!

I only keep stingless native bees at the moment but I really would love to try honey bees but to be honest, I'm a little worried that I don't have the skills to keep them properly or the time with all my other projects and commitments. Fresh honey from our own bees would be amazing though...

They sure don't get the respect and protection they deserve in my opinion. You are lucky to have
the knowledge to take care of your own hives and others are fortunate in your relocation service.
I always feel bad to know how quickly people turn to pest companies that only kill bees.
