Caesar did you know the fresh corn silks are full of natural antibiotics and you should eat them when you first remove the cob from the plant?
If you grab the silks by the end hanging out as you remove the husks, the silks all come away in a rope so you can just pop it in your mouth and bite off the dried bit hanging out the top of the cob!
      Chooks also love corn silks.
And of course you can use the husks as skins to form sausages, tamales, rice or cauliflower 'meat' patties and similar.
