Yes, they have come super early for me. I tend to grow them for about 2 months from seed indoors under a UV light out of unpredictable Melbourne weather first. Some people think I'm nuts because I have well established plants still to plant under cover but I find they tend to fruit earlier and I have less pest issues. But in saying that, I can't say many pests attack aubergine from my experience in Melbourne. Nothing beats home grown tomatoes too. @Mark 's video about comparing home grown tomatoes to those in the supermarket is spot on. The store ones are just terrible, full of tasteless water and his video was absolutely spot on. This is why I don't go a summer without growing my own! Thanks Shannon
