A few weeks ago I got my first order from Daley’s Fruit Tree Nursery. Not only do they have a great range they provide a very efficient service. Postage is also quite reasonable.

The videos’ below show how the fruit trees are packed safe and sound for delivery and how to unpack them when you get them.

Packing Fruit Trees for transport.

Unpacking them

My fruit trees arrived healthy, safe and sound and well protected in their box. A Glen Mango, Black Grumicharma and 2 Blueberry Burst. Now all planted and doing well.

Inside the box all snug as a bug. A Glen Mango, Black Grumicharma and 2 Blueberry Burst. Now all planted and doing well.

All the plants were wrapped together in black plastic; no way were the plants able to move around in the box.

Then each plant has a bag tied around the pot so no dirt falls out during transport.

Very impressed with the service and have already got some more plants ordered. Once you place an order you can continue to add to that order until it is shipped.

I've bought a couple of things from them in the past and those plants are going well.

The problem I found with Daleys is, I get on their site, start looking at all the cool plants that I could have and add them to the cart in my excitement, then somehow I'm spending hundreds of dollars and have to just close the site and re-assess my needs and budget

They certainly do a good job. I've bought from them a few times also. They have excellent service but agree that the costs just add up when looking to combine shipping (because buying just one plant is not best value for shipping). The quality of their plants are excellent but I've had a bad run killing them in the cold winters we get in my part of the country.

Daleys are definately superior when it comes to online nursery products, ive bought from them a few times and i am always impressed by the care and the product that arrives at my door. Its clear that the people there have a passion for what they do and they have such a huge range :D

Some photos from when we went down to Daley's. They had the most fruit trees we have ever seen in a nursery.

Inside the Biodome, which has 100's of dwarf fruit trees. We were surprised at how close the trees were planted and how many they got into the space.

Trip down was great, stopped at a creek and had lunch on the way home before hitting the Brisbane traffic which wasn't fun. All up it was a good day.

What a great set up! I like the close planting of fruit trees - it's what I've been experimenting with here on our property trying to fit more fruit trees in than normal.
